things that i did yesterday:
1. applied for my passport.
2. asked professors for recommendations for me to study abroad--for this program, which i have been dreaming about for the past seven months.
3. called my dad, who promptly told me he would love to help me go, but, no, there was no way he was taking out a loan (or co-signing on one).
4. learned that you can be heartbroken about something other than love.
