i am going to see President Bush speak here at my university (kansas state) on monday morning. i stood in line for 4 1/2 hours this morning to get a (free) ticket. i can honestly say i never thought i'd do that for dubya. most of you know that my political views lean far to the left and that i work and volunteer for the democratic party. however, there is something to be said for witnessing a sitting president speak in person, especially when that speech is at your university. i'm very very excited.
