drumroll: the obligatory end-of-the-year entry...

2006 has been absolutely amazing. i've learned so much, conquered a lot, grown as a person, shrunk in physical size and started to conquer the world (sort of). i healed a broken heart by myself and found out that i could love again. i've learned the basic tenets of arabic and kicked ass both in school and in all the committees and boards and everything i'm on.

things honestly, can only go up from here. i am excited about 2007 and am hereby declaring it the "Year of Krista." Study abroad in a very foreign. place. Losing more weight. Settling into my new-found leadership position at my university of over 22,000. Traveling to Minnesota (once again) and Mississippi. Taking the GRE (scary). Landing some awesome scholarships. Countless other things.

so much opportunity on the horizon.
