semester is coming to and end next week, and the thing i'm most excited about is the fact that not only did i survive arabic, i kicked its butt and earned an a! i've memorized the alphabet. i know how to conjugate nouns (1st, 2nd and 3rd masculine and feminine) and verbs (past and present). i can count to ten, and then by tens up to 100. i know what a lot of the body parts are. i know formal and informal greetings. i can talk about the weather. and on top of that, i would say i know at least 50 other vocabulary words! exciting!
i'm also looking at receiving 3 a's and one b this semester--all while working part time and with all my extra curricular activities (student senator, student government committee member, college council member, homecoming committee, international relations honorary exec board...it goes on and on). oh and i've lost a total of 71 lbs, and i'm going to keep going! i'm darn proud of myself!
